PDT-DEFOAM-A

Alcohol-based defoamer and a liquid blend of non-ionic surfactants, can be used to eliminate foam from water-based drilling fluids and brines. Originally designed for brine foam prevention, PDT-DEFOAM-A can be used effectively in most water-based fluids and all brine types.

PDT-DEFOAM-A can be used to remove foam in brines, drilling, and drill-in fluids.

Advantages:

  • Effective at small concentrations in all brine types
  • Dispersable in brine
  • Compatible with most water-based fluids
  • Can be added directly to the system
  • Contains no petroleum hydrocarbons

PDT-DEFOAM-AF

A blend of high molecular weight alcohol and modified fatty acid derivatives, can be used to reduce or remove surface foam in freshwater and seawater muds and in viscosified brines.

PDT-DEFOAM-AF can be used to eliminate foam from water-based drilling fluids.

Advantages:

  • Effective in a pH range of 2.0 to 12.5
  • Miscible in water
  • Effective in small concentrations

PDT-DEFOAM-S

Silicon base defoamer, is a versatile and effective defoamer for most water-based drilling fluids.

PDT-DEFOAM-S can be used as an effective defoamer in most water-based drilling fluids and brine-based systems such as potassium chloride.

  • Effective at low concentrations

PDT-DEFOAM-WAF

Low toxicity defoamer, a blend of high molecular weight alcohol and modified fatty acid derivatives, is oil-soluble and slightly water dispersible.

PDT-DEFOAM-WAF can be used to defoam water-based drilling fluids, crude oils, and aqueous solutions.

Advantages:

  • Provides immediate effectiveness in water-based drilling fluids and other aqueous solutions
  • Effective in small concentrations
